Dr. Mehdi Peikar, is an orthodontist and a physicist and a graduate of the UCLA School of Dentistry, is the inventor and founder of BRIUS. He also holds a Ph.D. in Biomechanics from Johns Hopkins University and a Master's degree in Quantum Mechanics and Condensed Matter from the University of Illinois. Utilizing his experience in biomechanics, Dr. Peikar engineered the BRIUS system, known also as Independent Mover or Brava, harnessing the latest in 3D printing, material science, and AI to deliver superior biomechanics for tooth movement. Following braces and aligners, BRIUS represents the third evolution in teeth movement techniques.

Dr. Peikar has secured over 60 patents and BRIUS Technologies Inc., the company he founded has raised more than $60 million in funding so far.
